Top 10 things to do at Camiguin

A visit to:

1.Katibawasan Falls- has an entrance fee of 30/person. A measurement of 75meters long, thin water fall but very refreshing. We visited there with dark clouds and sprinkles of rain, it was really foggy which makes the water even colder. Falls is shallow and gets deeper beyond the rope.

   2. Tuasan Falls- a measurement of more or less 20meters long. A cooler water which also refreshing after a long drive of under the sun-scooter.
So cool, its surprising to have a fewer tourist around.Nothing to worry, falls is really too shallow to swim, completely safe. Its at the top of the mountain. Almost the same trail going to the famous Hibok-Hibok Mountain.
I was chilling while letting the family have a refreshing waterfalls swim.

3. BeeHive Farm- also a restaurant to where they are famous about their 'stuffed coconut' which made of fresh coconut(buko) chopped of,keep the coconut stuff inside and drain the water. Stuff of vegetables and chicken curry. Before they put it in the oven for like 4-hrs of cooking and thats the reason why you need to order it a day before of your visit.
This is how it looks when is being served.

I recommend to try this place if you want a cheaper real-honey.
4. Soda Waters- Camiguineos said that you can drink this water and help you get better or good for sickness like high blood pressure and so fort. Did not get the entire illness listed but there are few names.

5. Mantigue Island- You can go there by boat cost 550php. And pay the rest of snorkel fee at the island. The island also has a benches and food as well like pork, fish and shells(oyster). Pork/Fish kilos of 400php. A solid of 20-25mins of boat going there since it was a little bit of waves. You can snorkel there and it has quite nice looking fish and corals most especially by the marine sanctuary section.

Other side of the island, we went for a walk around for a little adventure due to curiosity of how small the island would bel. Surprisingly there are few families live there.
6. Macao Cold Spring- a cool looking spring, with nobody around when we visited there, seems only locals knows the place which is awesome since my family wanted the spring all by ourselves(grin).
1-american,1-russian,4-canadians(including my son) and me the photographer(Pinay).
Pretty cool place eh?

7. Giant clams- a solid of 3klms from the main road drive of scooter to find the place. Very nice beach and you can actually snorkel and see the clams yourself. Also, nothing to worries since they also have a few ponds for tourist to see. Cool looking clams aquarium.
Really huge clams, those algae around are their food.
A very well protected clams aquarium.

8. Ardent Hot Spring- the water was not what we are expecting, we went there around 6-7pm in the evening, wishing for a warm up swim from a cold drive of scooter all day. Water is just as warm as our shower back in the city(cebu)during summer. I, unfortunately did not manage to get some pictures.

9.Hibok-Hibok Mountain- We unfortunately are not able to hike, first of all, i have a toddler, and most importantly when you make a plan of trekking there, it should be sunny. Sad to say, our 6days of stay in Camiguin were more dark clouds and sprinkles often. Which was good for our scooter drives. But bad for volcano trekking.
10. Sunken Cemetery/Ruin Church- Luckily these two tourist attractions are so close to each other, its like 500meters away.
These probably interest to sole travellers but frankly speaking not too much to see.  You can go to the big cross for like 100/head or you can negotiate for 100pesos depends of how many are you. Basically, it is such a small boat(by paddle)

Quick knowledge of the ruin church.
A 100-300year old century tree i guess was this called? I am not so certain since i was not really listening to a girl trying to sell me a candle to light up by the altar of the ruin church.
A big cross picture with this trooper at Sunken Cemetery.
We went there quite late around 5-5:30p.m which is quite late and hard to get good picture using a smart phone.
Five-seven days visit is way more than enough to explore the whole island.

These are my list of 'must visit' at Camiguin Island Philippines.
