Anda, Bohol Philippines

Anda has a peaceful neighbourhood. Long white sand, just right at the back of the public market. Definitely lesser tourist, the white fine sand is just amazing, its almost a clay melt in your hand by the waves of the ocean.
I have visited Alona beach couple times and my last visit was almost 3years ago, definitely more tourist there and more restaurant to browse but its a little crowded compare to Anda. Here is just living among locals, see their boat moving towards ocean for their daily lives of catching fish. Definitely a next place to visit on your list.
In here you can browse the beach all by yourself without those "tourist" boats on the way.
The range of the white fine sand is even longer than Alona beach at Panglao,Bohol.
Walking by the beach with locals is fun.
As in empty this space all the way on the other side.
(Early in the morning,7ish a.m.)
(My son, having a great time by the sand all by himself 3-p.m).
Anda, aside from having a great white long range of white beach, it also has a few good restaurants to go to. There is a good food at Coco-Loco quiet expensive but worth it,the place itself is small but service is fast, staffs are attentive as well. Coco Loco also has their specialty of Carabao meat(rare to have in Philippines) considering that Carabao are useful for farmer to work the farm.Carabao also is our national animal,do the plowing for the farmers so its very rare to have meat for sale.
There is also another good restaurant, its more expensive but also has good food its called Old Castle, definitely to be on the 'must try' resto. Its almost double the prices from Coco Loco but they have good food as well.

    'Little Miami Beach Resort'
      'Cheap rooms and very nice'
If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay at Anda i recommend the 'Little Miami Beach resort'. Clean, cheap, homey. The only problem they don't have restaurant. Other than that,i have no negative review.

They welcome walk-in guests. But you need more luck to get vacant room.
